Thanks to Apple and their disposable computers, I've recently watched my 2nd Power Mac G5 die. Patiently awaiting my Mac Pro 6 core/ Pro Tools HD Native rig's arrival! In the mean time, I just finished up mixes (on a really grumpy borrowed Mac) for Railroad Fever's debut album: Things You Lost, produced by Kevin Hanson. In 3 evenings of mixing, the thing probably crashed 30 times. This vid's my favorite...

It's been a busy summer... Just wrapped up Tom Cohen's organ trio cd which featured a slew of monster musicians including Joey Defrancesco, Randy Johnston and Tim Warfield (to name a few). Mark Colenburg laid some face-melting drums on Ben O'Neil's new album. Check Mark out w/ Robert Glasper (seriously). Son Step has a 2 song ep in the works... here's a link to last year's ep, which totally kicks ass. Also in the middle of tracking albums for Philadelphia artists Shawn Hennessey and Endless Mountains as well as mixing Railroad Fever's debut album. Stay tuned for the debut from Split Red as well... Just waiting for the green light to start mixing this bad mofo!
All this and a healthy full-time dose of baby-jail.

I've been waiting for this guy to cut an album of his acoustic material and the time has finally come! Not only that, but I get to be a part of it! He brought in Dan Schwartz from Good Old War to co-produce. Good times and great takes so far.. the man is gifted. We get to have some fun w/ the production, while keeping it 100% about the songs.

Res and I will be shooting a video for Dreams on Monday 4/2. It's to support Refried Mac, our upcoming EP of flipped Fleetwood Mac covers. It's going to start here in Philly, then wind up at The Note in West Chester, where we will perform with Talib Kweli's band. Come hang, Kweli's show is insane. Jean Grae will be in the house as well. If you're in NYC, we'll be @ SOB's on Thursday 4/28.
Unfortunately, the University of Delaware show has been cancelled.

Still a bit of a work in progress, but most of the goods are here. Tons of music, thanks to Soundcloud. Lots of old stuff in the archives as well. The studio portion is a bit rickety because of certain limitations of this Virb platform, so that may get changed in the near future.
I'm gonna try to stay up on performance dates, but most of all I'm seeing this place as a big ol' portfolio of creative works.
Sasha says yo.
I'll be jumping on stage w/ Talib Kweli on sporadic shows around the east coast toward the end of April. He's helping Res and I release and promote our Refried Mac album. We'll be doing a couple Refried tunes, maybe one of Res' and shooting video in Philly.
As of now, it's looking like I'll be doing:
04.28 New York, NY: SOB’s
05.01 Newark, DE: Delaware U (Charity Event)
05.02 Philadelphia, PA: The Note
05.03 Washington, DC: Black Cat
05.04 Baltimore, MD: Sonar
