Something's a starting to rumble around down in the studio. Not sure what. Could be an EP, could be 2... Lot's of Les Baxter, Jackie Mittoo and Ellington getting played around here along w/ Yo Gabba Gabba and the other usual kiddie madness. We'll see how it all pieces together.
The juggle continues! Lot's of sessions booked (more on that soon) and a few adventures in studio acoustic treatment in the works as well...
Kinda feels like time for a gig or two... not-a one on the calender. Strange.
Lot of stuff in the works... Just started working on something that may become a Guerrilladelphia album, laying down scratch tracks for a new Don McCloskey album, writing and demoing some tunes w/ Nate Farrar and getting ready for The Turkey Testicle Music Festival.
Every year on the night before Thanksgiving, Don McCloskey throws a party where the participants indulge in delicious deep-fried turkey testicles. Mmmmm mmmm! This year it will be thrown at Murphy's Pub!
Come on down... we'll be playing "trio of doom" style.. Big D, Matt Scarano and myself...

The It's Always Sunny shows were ridiculous... nicest cast on the planet! They don't drink quite as much in person as they do on the show, but they still throw down!
Heading up to the Beacon Theater on Wednesday, 9/16 to do a little set with Don McCloskey opening up for the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia live show. After that, we'll be heading back to Philly for two back to back shows at the Tower Theater on thursday.
Nate Farrar and I have just completed some sort of strange album. We set out to make a blues album for kids (more or less a parody of RL Burnside's A Ass Pocket of Whiskey)... we ended up with some tracks that are going to scare the living daylights out of most kids. Not mine of course... Ozzy loves it.
