This past January, I decided to create a series of recordings out of the periodic jam sessions that have been going down in my studio. Shoot some video, maybe capture some discussions about improvisation. Right now we're keeping it simple, Youtube and digital releases. Undercarriage Improv Series: Volume 1 is now out on iTunes. It features Jeremy Dyen on keyboards and percussion, Jon Thompson on reeds, Chuck Treece on drums, myself on guitar and bass and George Morgan shooting the video. Undercarriage Improv Series: Volume 2 is still unreleased, but I'm working on a free download for now. UTV 2 features myself on guitar, steel guitar, bass and keys and G. Calvin Weston on drums, trumpet and keys.
